The online ReNew Biomedical Training Academy prepares students for the biomedical equipment industry. Trained by experienced biomeds through our online course, students gain a foundational knowledge of the HTM field and are equipped to pass their CABT exams and begin working in the medical equipment industry.

What is the time commitment?
The online class is completely asynchronous, which means that you can go through the course at your own pace. To learn about hands-on, in-person training options, contact us today.
What certifications are available after I take this course?
The Fundamentals of HTM is not directly affiliated with any certification, but many students go directly from our course into the CABT (Certified Associate in Biomedical Technician) exam, an entry-level certification.
Do I have to be a resident of TN?
You do not have to live in Tennessee to take the online HTM Fundamentals course. To learn about our in-person Apprenticeship program, visit ReNew’s site. Apprenticeship slots are limited, and fill up quickly for students willing to relocate to Tennessee.
Where does this training take place?
The Fundamentals of HTM course is available completely online. Hands-on training packages are also available for those living near or willing to travel to Jackson, TN.
